Samuel Gowon Edoumiekumo is a Professor par excellence, a Distinguished Economist, an Astute Vice-Chancellor, an accomplished Banker, a Pastor, a loving Husband and Father. Professor Samuel Gowon Edoumiekumo was born on the 30th of April 1970 at Toru-Angiama in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State into the humble family of Mr and Mrs Edoumiekumo Bileke. He started his search for the Golden Fleece in 1982 at Akedenowei Primary school, Toru Angiama and proceeded to Toru-Angiama Secondary School where he excelled however he relocated to Lagos State where he completed his secondary education at Ajeromi Ifelodun High School, Apapa obtaining the West African Certificate (WASC) in 1988. Young Samuel Gowon’s understanding of the importance of education and hunger for more knowledge propelled him to obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1995 and a Master of Science Degree in Economics from the prestigious University of Port Harcourt in 2001. He holds two Doctorate Degrees in Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and the University of Port Harcourt. His pursuit of education transverses the four regions of the country.
One does not become an academic general in the Ivory Tower without conscious efforts and handwork. Several factors interweave to make this possible. These factors include determination, sound morals, strength, fidelity, reliability, accountability, cerebral profundity, expertise and the fear and love of God. Between 2002 and 2014, Samuel Edoumiekumo progressed through the rank and file of the institution from the position of Assistant Lecturer, to a Professor of Economics at The Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island Bayelsa State. From 2011 to 2016, he served in various Boards within and outside the university such as the Center for Education Services, Basic and Pre-Degree Programmes, Directorate of Consultancy, Entrepreneurship Research and Development and Linkage Assurance Plc.
Professor Samuel Gowon Edoumiekumo has served in various administrative capacities. He was the Acting Head of Department of Economics, Deputy Director, Entrepreneurship and Training, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Chairman of Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee, Vendors Monitoring Committee, Niger Delta University Housing Committee, Member, Niger Delta University Governing Council, Senate Business Committee, Assessment and Graduation Requirements Committee, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration and in May 2017 he was appointed the acting Vice-Chancellor of the Niger Delta University and later became substantive Vice-Chancellor in May 2018. Good leaders have vision and inspire others to help them turn their vision into reality while great leaders have vision, share vision, and inspire others to create their own and when the vision is clear, the results will appear. Professor Edoumiekumo has always tried not to just be a man of success but be a man of value. Upon assumption of office as Vice-Chancellor of the Niger Delta University, he transformed the landscape of the university with several achievements to his credit including one hundred percent full accreditation status of all programmes presented in the 2018 NUC/Professional Accreditation Exercise, steady power and and water supply on campus, introduction of online fees payment, course registration and result platforms, Infrastructural Development with world class structures and state of the art facilities, Improved internet connectivity, Introduction of CCTV and other devices to aid security on campus and an increase in student intake.
Due to his Entrepreneurial drive, he established a fleet of businesses spanning from potable bottled and satchet water, detergent, disinfectant, bread, confectionaries, paint and other products to the university's own radio station, NDU Radio 98.1Wilberfoce Island FM which is fast growing to its reputation as the Pride of the Region. Also under his watch, there has been an unprecedented increase in the internally generated revenue (IGR) base of the University.
Prof. Edoumiekumo belongs to numerous professional bodies. He is a Fellow of the Historians of Education Development Society of Nigeria (HOEDSON), Fellow, Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (FIEN), Fellow, Chartered Forensic Investigation Professional (FCFIP), Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Management, Member, Nigerian Economic Society and Fellow of Institute of Classic Entrepreneurship, Nigeria. A gold fish has no hiding place and Prof. Edoumiekumo is certainly a gold fish who has earned several academic and professional awards as result of his ingenuity and innovations. In 2017 he was awarded the Distinguished Economist Award alongside Mr. Godwin Emefiele, Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Others include, the Pan African Servant Leadership Award by the African Student Union Parliament, Award of Honour as the Most Innovative Vice-Chancellor in Niger Delta University, Award for Exceptional Leadership in University, Trail Blazer Award by the Bayelsa Media Award 2019, Ambassador of Youths Award 2017, Special award of recognition for Humanitarian Service Award by National Youths Service Corps Members Batch C 2013/2014, Comrade Vice Chancellor Award 2017 by Students Union of the Niger Delta University, Humanitarian Service Award by South South Media Group, Award for Outstanding performance by NYSC, Southern Ijaw Zone, Distinguished Mentorship Award by the University of Port Harcourt.
Prof. Edoumiekumo was presented with a letter of Commendation and a Plaque by the University Governing Council in recognition of his administrative excellence. Prestigious Administration Excellence Award in Education at the 8th African Leadership Magazine’s Person of the Year Award Ceremony 2019 in Johannesburg, South Africa and just recently he bagged the African Leadership Educational Icon Award from the African Leadership Magazine Africa Summit 2020 amongst others. Prof Edoumiekumo’s highest intellectual passion is the search for consumption and production of knowledge. This outright scholar has written and published widely, locally, nationally and internationally, journals, books, book chapters, research reports and monographs. He has also attended and presented seminar papers at several national and international conferences. His web of knowledge has produced scholarly works in economics and has earned him several awards. Professor Edoumiekumo presented the 17th Inaugural Lecture in 2015 titled GOD, MAN AND THE WORLD: THE NIGERIAN TRIPODIC ‘EXCHANGEOLOGICAL’ DILEMMA at the Niger Delta University. Professor Edoumiekumo has taught several courses as lecturer in the University and they include Principles of Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Managerial Economics, Business Mathematics/Mathematical economics, Econometrics, Business Statistics, Operations Research, Business Decision Analysis and Financial Institutions and Markets and have supervised several undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Edoumiekumo is a Pastor, Teacher, Tutor, University Don, Marketer, accomplished Banker and member of Boards in several reputable organisations. While in the Banking Industry with First Bank of Nigeria he served in various capacities. He rose from senior staff to Head, Banking Operations, Operations Support, Customer Service, Technical Support, Cashier and Credit Officer. As a Teacher, he taught subjects like Commerce, Economics and Business Studies at Oshodi Secondary School, Tolu in Lagos state, had a brief stint with OM ltd a PVC Pipe Manufacturing Company and also contributed at the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ) as a Part-Time Lecturer.He is the first Nigerian winner of African Educationist of the Year in 2020 and current Chairman of Committee of Vice Chancellors, Nigeria.

Engr. Dr. Jenyo Babatunde was born in Offa, Kwara State, Nigeria to Lamidi Opoola Jenyo and Omosolape Atoke Jenyo (Nee Sanusi Adebayo) both of blessed memory from Offa, Kwara State Nigeria. He attended St Mark’s Primary School Offa and Oyun Baptist High School, Ijagbo Kwara State, Nigeria.
Jenyo Babatunde holds; Ph.D in Entrepreneurship from Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Master Degrees in Industrial Engineering from University of Ibadan and Business Administration from University of Ilorin, Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Computer Engineering from Federal University of Technology, Minna and National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin. Engr. Dr. M. B. Jenyo also schooled at Kainji Training Centre where he obtained certificate in Electrical System Operation. He further schooled at MediSend International, Dallas Texas in USA and South West Hospital of Third Military Medical University Chengdu, China where he obtained certificates in Biomedical Repairs and Clinical Operation of Urodynamic System respectively.
Dr. Jenyo is a practicing engineer, registered with the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He is a Chartered Project and Facility Manager (CPM, CFM). Jenyo Babatunde is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and served as the General Secretary and other Elective positions in the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Ilorin Branch. He also served in some committees at the NSE National level. He is a Past Chairman of the Nigeria Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers (NIEEE), Ilorin Chapter. Engr. Jenyo Babatunde is an associate member of Global Institute of Project Management (GIPM) and member International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
He had worked for several years; as a Lecturer at the Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin. He was an adjunct lecturer with; University of Ilorin, Ekiti State University, Institute of Higher Studies Kwara State College of Education, Lafiaji and University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital School Nursing. At present, Engr. Dr. Jenyo is an adjunct lecturer with Federal University, Oye-Ekiti. His early work experience was as a Power Generation System’s Electrical Operator at Kainji Hydro Power Station, New-Bussa. Dr. M. B. Jenyo is at present, a Deputy Director in University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital as Head- Electrical engineering unit. He also engaged in consultancy services to firms and facilities.
Engineer M. B. Jenyo served as a COREN resource for the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for a number of years regarding the accreditation of polytechnic engineering programmes.
Engr. M. B. Jenyo, a humanitarian, joined the Rotary family as a chartered member of the Rotaract Club of New-Bussa Community Based in 1990–1991 and progressed through the ranks to become President Rotaract Club of Federal University of Technology Minna and District Rotaract Representative (D9130) in the year of "Mankind is My Business" (2001–2002). He presided over Rotary Club of Ilorin-Sunrise, D9125 as its Chartered President in the 2018–19 Rotary year.

Former World Bank and USAID consultant, chairman of lance d’afrique, Executive Director of Cameroon Human Resources SARL and author of more than 30 books, Alain Ndedi who holds a PhD in business management and another one in forensic accounting, is a professor with an extensive experience in entrepreneurship, finance, and economic development for the past 15 years. He has supervised more than 40 PhD students and approximately 50 Masters students. He was Dean at Saint Monica University, within the School of Business and Public Policy; lecturer of entrepreneurship and project management at the university of Johannesburg, Université de l’entrepreneuriat and at the Higher Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (IME). He is a visiting professor at Hope Africa University and International Leadership University where he teaches Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility, Strategic Management, and Organisational Behaviour. He worked as Political Analyst at SABC, South African Broadcasting Corporation, a state-owned public broadcaster in South Africa. From 2004-2008, he was Director at YENEPAD, a platform of African scholars based in South Africa working on African renaissance programmes. Professor Ndedi wrote Case studies on Volkwagen unethical behaviour, the war between Komatsu and Caterpillar, the WhatsApp founders Bryan Ancton and Jan Koum, the Maponya Mall in Soweto, the battle between Coca Cola and Pepsi, the google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, the Douala Stock Exchange, Yahoo downfall, and the Shell corporate irresponsibility behaviour in Nigeria. All the way from the hinter lands of Kpanche in the Ozongulo clan of Bassa Kwomu district of Bassa LGA of Kogi came a wonderful, bright and intelligent fellow: Dr. Tukura, Peter Tuwohu.
Dr. Tukura, Peter Tuwohu began his Primary Education at the Roman Catholic Mission School, Sheria, Bassa LGA of Kogi State where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in the year 1990. He further proceeded to Government Science Secondary School, Oguma, Kogi State, between the year 1990 to 1995 and thereafter transferred to Biriadu Community Secondary School, Abocho, Dekina LGA of Kogi State to Obtain his Senior Secondary Certificate in Education (WAEC ) in the year 1996.
Dr. Tukura, Peter Tuwohu began his Tertiary Education life in a humble atmosphere where he choosed the huge part of knowledge and self-development, and it earned him a National Diploma in Business Administration at the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja in 2001, A Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science with Second Class Upper Division in 2005, A Master’s Degree, and ultimately a Ph.D in Public Administration in 2014 and 2020 respectively at the Kogi State University, Anyigba, Kogi State now Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Kogi State.
Because of his constant search for knowledge, the young Dr. Tukura, Peter Tuwohu further proceeded to National Teachers Institute, Lokoja Study Center, affiliated to the University of Ilorin, Kwara State to Obtain his Post Graduate Diploma in Education in the same year 2020.
Dr. Tukura's quest for existence in a challenging scenario after his mandatory one year National Youth Service Corps in the College of Education, Ekiadolor, Benin, Edo State in 2006 drove him into the ever competitive banking sector where he served as Relationship Manager, Head of Operations, Branch Operations Manager and ultimately a Branch Business Manager in a career spanning close to Sixteen years now at the United Bank For Africa Plc and Firstbank of Nigeria Ltd respectively.
This great moments in the banking sector have built in him a pool of knowledge via Professional trainings in information Technology, Cyber security, Monetary policies and evaluation, Banking reforms and Credits advancement.

The position of ACSBE Country Vice-President was created to enable ACSBE to reach out more effectively to its Members across countries in which it has a presence. The primary role of a Country VP is to act as the ACSBE representative for that country. Other roles are:
To maintain a dialogue with the ACSBE Board about how the organisation can best meet the needs of national members;
To promote the activities and interests of ACSBE at a national level, by arranging national events, such as policy workshops, working in partnership with the ACSBE Board;

Dr. Emmanuel Innocents Edoun have worked in the field of public administration, development studies and socio-economic development in rural and urban settings abroad and in South Africa’s dual economy and acquired well-rounded experience while working under difficult conditions. He has travelled widely between different countries in Africa while interacting with policy makers, policy implementers and community members. He is industrious with have good conceptual and organisational skills, proficiency in computer packages and an impressive academic record.
He is an energetic and creative individual with a unique mix of skills acquired through a combination of inter-disciplinary education combined with a work experience in versatile environments. Over the years, Dr. Edoun have acquired and honed skills in designing, teaching and implementing socio-economic development projects; in managing expectations of multiple stakeholders and motivating people through effective leadership. He has lectured extensively in South Africa and abroad. He has presented a number of papers in conferences, locally and abroad- France-The Netherland, Germany- Spain-Cyprus-Cameroon-South Africa. He has published articles in peer reviewed Journals, with the recent publication related to public sector reform in Cameroon.
Dr. Edoun was a Programme and a Research Director/Policy Advisor at the Global Action for Africa’s Development (GLAFAD) and a Senior Researcher at the Centre for Public Enterprises (CPE) within the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is in charge of a newly created Academic Journal at CPE where articles from contributors argue about pertinent issues on public enterprises in Africa and abroad.

Paulin MBECKE He is a university Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, at the “Université du Moyen Lualaba – UML” in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) from where he originates.
Prof Mbecke has a BA degree in Rural/Community Development from the DRC; a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Policy and Development Administration and a Master of Management and PhD degrees in Public and Development Management from the School of Governance at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg – South Africa. For his PhD, obtained in 2010, he developed the Integrated Modelled Theory (IMT) which uses Artificial Intelligence via Bayesian Networks to facilitate the understanding of factors conducive to child abuse neglect and exploitation as to facilitate its prevention and management of cases.
He previously worked as Research Associate in the Department of Economics and spent two years as a Post-Graduate Fellow in the Faculty of Economics and Management Science at the University of South Africa. He spent ten years as Senior Researcher and Senior Project Manager for the Crime Prevention and Safety and Security Research Groups at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in Pretoria South Africa from 2002 to 2012.
Prof Mbecke is passionate and active in the humanitarian, relief, and human rights fields. He is currently the Chairman of the Executive Governance Board of the Refugee Children’s Project (RCP), a relief and advocacy organisation assisting migrants and local vulnerable, destitute, and marginalised children, women, and families in and around Johannesburg, South Africa. He has been the Executive Chairman of RCP since 2002 and the Chairman of the Global Initiative for Peace and African Development (GIPAD). From 1997 to 2002 he worked as Deputy Project Director in charge of advocacy, policy, and information for the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS), where he facilitated partnership with government, local communities, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) (in 1998, JRS become the main UNHCR implementing partner). He has work experience in South Africa, DRC, Rwanda, Burundi and recently Cyprus in the European Union.
Prof Mbecke fluently speaks both English and French. He has written and presented papers locally (South Africa and DRC) and at international conferences on entrepreneurship, refugees, child abuse, public policy, gender, service delivery, social development, safety and security, governance, and other socio-economic issues. He has published articles in local and international accredited journals. He also teaches courses on population, environment and development, gender and development, community development, entrepreneurship in the DRC and Burundi and is an associate academic at the University of South Africa (UNISA).

Dr Siham El-Kafafi is the founder of Arrows Research Consultancy Limited. She is an entrepreneur, educator and businesswoman who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of her students and clients. She started her company in June 2014 with the aim of sharing her mentoring, training and coaching experience through tailored programs serving her clients and their needs.
Siham El-Kafafi has a wide industry and consultancy experience in the medical, manufacturing and service industry besides being an academic for the past 21 years. Her teaching experience plays a leadership role in the creation of high quality student experience in a wide range of business courses. Siham is running her own business Arrows Research Consultancy Limited, providing consultancy work for both corporate organisations and educational institutions since June 2014. He is a Malaysian-trained cerebral and resourceful Doctor of entrepreneurship. Nasiru is a born entrepreneurship teacher, consultant and mentor, educational administrator and manager of international repute. A management strategist, investment analyst, entrepreneurial mathematician, quantitative technician and risk manager of great repute, he is currently a Senior Lecturer/HOD at Department of Business Management, Business School as well as Director, (Entrepreneurship) International Centre of Excellence for Rural Finance and Entrepreneurship both at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. With outstanding expertise in preparation of feasibility studies, writing of business plan and corporate reorganization, his research interests lies in Entrepreneurship Development, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Business Creation and Growth, Policy and Development among others. Abdullahi Nasiru has many journal publications both at home and abroad and presented papers at Conferences both at home and abroad. A professional par excellence, he participated in a number of consultancy researches that involved field works, large data handling and reporting. In the In the International Centre of Excellence for Rural Finance and Entrepreneurship, he is the initiator of an ongoing programme of rural financing called the “Mai Kosai Project”- meant to finance and empowered rural women in running household consumption businesses. He is a Member, The Academy of Management and Fellow, Institute of Classic Entrepreneurship, Nigeria among others.

A multiple award-winner, Fatai Rufai, within years of excellent performance, was awarded overall first winner of the National Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition (2018) by Z and S Foundation, Most Efficient Fellow (2018) by AL-Hikmat Group of Schools, second position winner at the Shepherd Business Development Competition (2020) by Suntrust Bank and grant winner at the Whitefield Foundation among others.
